Development of New Product IHI CCH1200 Drive Tumbler

After purchasing the track pads, track roller, upper roller and idler for the IHI CCH1200 from us, the customer decided to replace 1pc drive tumbler for this crane, and provided photos of the drive wheels on the machine, the manual and some dimensions. We realized that since the drive wheels could not be removed at this time, the customer could not assist in measuring more accurate dimensions such as the drive wheel inner diameter, so the information was referred to our technical department to find a solution.

Since some of the dimensions given by the customer were on the standard scale drawings, our engineers made a supplementary drawing through CAD based on the known dimensions of the drawings. After drawing a complete IHI CCH1200 sprocket drawing, we will send it to a cooperative Japanese original dealer for confirmation, and the result is exactly the same size.

Soon after the offer was approved by the customer, we started to make the mold and cast the first sample. After all the tests passed, we officially cast the IHI CCH1200 drive sprocket for the customer. After that, it has undergone multiple procedures include heat treatment, machining, painting and inspection.

After all inspections are passed, the drive wheel is carefully packaged and shipped to the customer by air. The entire order process is about 20 days, and the customer perfectly replaced the drive wheel during the planned machine maintenance period.
