1. Introduction for M999 Crawler Crane

The Manitowoc 999 crawler crane is with powerful combination of high performance easy mobilization and versatility. Designed for the global market and satisfied features suggested by customers from around the globe.

This crane incorporates numerous advancements exclusive to Manitowoc, including EPIC controls with CANBUS technology, FACT connectors, and closed-loop hydraulics for truly independent variable speed operation of the swing, load hoist and boom hoist.

As well as lifting loads of up to 80t the crane is also being used with a man-riding attachment, helping the customers to access difficult-to-reach points on the huge offshore structures it builds. The crane’s computer has a special personnel handling mode to facilitate this, which reduces line speeds and line pull to meet personnel handling code requirements.

The Manitowoc 999 has a 250 t capacity and a maximum load moment of 115 t/m. It can be equipped with up to 88.4 m of heavy lift boom and offers a range of options for jib attachments including up to 100.6 m of fixed jib and 128 m of luffing jib. Power comes from a Cummins QSM11 six-cylinder diesel engine rated at 298 kW.

5). NDT Examination/LPI or MPI;       6). NDT Examination / UT

7). Cutting / Sectioning.
