Oil spills could be a major 'killer' for accelerated the crane track roller damage. After the lubricating oil leaks out quickly, the friction between the bottom roller shaft and the copper bushing becomes larger, and they are constantly worn during rotation, so that the lower roller will be completely damaged in a short period of time.
To ensure that a roller does not leak oil, it is necessary to control various details in production, including the machining accuracy of the roller body and the side cover, also the quality and matching of the sealing ring. On the premise of ensuring fine machining dimensions and good quality of the accessories, we will also conduct a running-in test after each batch of rollers is assembled. This is the last step to avoid oil leakage of the rollers, and it is also the key detection. With a running-in test, the seals can be in the correct position and observed for oil leaks for final adjustment.
Last week, we assembled a batch of Sumitomo LS118 track rollers for inventory reserve. Sumitomo, same as Hitachi, Kobelco, and IHI are our daily hot-selling Japanese brands. In this running in test of the bottom rollers for Sumitomo crawler crane, all the bottom rollers have no oil leakage problem as expected, but our inspectors still take the inspection of each roller seriously.
Please feel free to contact us by email info@valuetrackpart.com for any replacement Sumitomo rollers or other track accessories. From the procurement of raw materials, to forging production, heat treatment and machining, we always maintain a stable quality, strictly follow the quality inspection system, conduct quality inspection at each stage, make it meet the mechanical performance requirements, minimize quality problems and provide professional After-sales service.
